Leenie Brown, Author/Blogger

One of my very good friends and fellow authors, is Leenie Brown. I have featured her books in the recent past (very recent, as her first published book came out a couple months ago); she wrote Oxford Cottage and For Peace of Mind. Something else that I admire about Leenie is her devotion to her blog.

Almost every day that she does not write, Leenie is working on her blog. She is one of the people who inspired me to begin doing Wordless Wednesdays. She takes that concept one step further, though. She has added Three Hundred Thursday to her blog lineup. She used the picture from Wednesday to write a story of at least three hundred words to post on Thursday. Often it’s more than three hundred, and for about a month, it’s been one continuous story that I have been eagerly devouring. 🙂

In the past, Leenie has done book reports, though she has not done any in a while. I think her own writing career has gotten in the way of that. Still, she posts her current work in progress, as well as short stories and a few other things. Her blog is titled Leenie Brown: Following the path of my imagination and writing about the characters I meet along the way.

I hope you will stop by and see what she has to say. I think you will be pleased with what you find!

Until later!

  1. Thank you, Zoe! This is so sweet! You’re right…writing coupled with my teaching job have gotten in the way of my doing book reports. I am hoping the more relaxed schedule for the next month will help me change that. 😉
