Teacher Corner–McGraw-Hill Virtual Manipulatives

From the Teacher’s Corner this month is one of my favorite sites to use with students: the McGraw-Hill Virtual Manipulatives site. This site can be sorted by grade level and type of skill (money, telling time, fractions, etc.), and has all kinds of tools, like a protractor, a writing tool, and more. Students and parents can manipulate the items on the screen. For example, click grade five then clock, and a yellow analog clock populates the left bar. Click and hold on the clock to drag it to the white area. You can change the clock to a digital one if you like. On the analog clock, the hands can be moved to show any time you like. Anyway…this is one of my favorite sites, and I hope you can use it. too!
