News and Updates: Saturday, March 7, 2020

Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

The countdown to Spring is on … woohoo!! <3

In writing news, I have written well over 4,000 words this week on my Patreon-exclusive story. I’ve about reached the halfway point, I think. I’m particularly proud of this word count, because I did not sleep well more than one night this week. Any time I can manage to write a lot while tired is a major win.

I’m still working on updated files for Matches Made at Netherfield. Microsoft Word is being difficult and I’m going to have to make formatting the print copy a first-thing-in-the-day, while-I’m-fresh task. I have no timeline for this project to be complete. I know that once I figure out the glitch, it won’t take more than a day to finish and get stuff uploaded.

Georgie’s Redemption will be 99¢ for a couple days at the end of the month. The book was approved for a Fussy Librarian email promo to go out on March 30th. I’ll keep the price set to 99¢ for a couple days after the email goes out for those of you who don’t open things right away. 🙂 Feel free to head over there and sign up if you’re afraid you’ll forget about it or will miss my email.

My Austen Authors post went up this past Monday. It got a very good response. I wrote about headache treatments in the Regency. 🙂

I don’t have much personal news again. Jasper has a vet appointment on Monday, so he’ll be getting a bath this weekend. I’m hoping to get him some extra vaccinations (he usually only gets rabies) so he can do doggy day care a couple days a month. I think he’ll enjoy the experience, and it will give me time to do errands and things without worrying about what he’s doing alone in the house.

What’s new with you? Doing anything fun? Are you as ready for Spring to arrive as I am? Feel free to leave a comment and share with me. I love to hear from my readers! <3
