Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

So ends week three of staying at home. How are you surviving?
In writing news, I finished my read-through of Darcy’s Uneasy Betrothal on Wednesday. That’s only one day behind. Yay! I made corrections yesterday. Today, I formatted the file. <3
However, making the ebook is giving me fits. I think I need to redo a page and start over. 🙁 It will have to wait until Sunday or Monday, which puts me even further behind, but there’s nothing I can do about it.
Anyway, I have put it up for preorder, but do not yet have a link. Be watching my Facebook page and readers group for news about it. I’ll send the link with next week’s email, too.
The book is scheduled to release on April 20, 2020. Its preorder price will be its sale price: $4.99. Also, it will release into Kindle Unlimited. It should come out in July and “go wide” at that time. For those who may not remember, “going wide” means being uploaded to other stores, like Kobo and Barnes & Noble/Nook.
I’ll start posting at darcyandlizzy as soon as my Patrons get their copies.

I’m still working on the plot for the next book. This is one of the more difficult parts for me. I may need to just begin to write and then plot out the rest when I see where it’s heading.

I realized the other day that formatting the Matches Made at Netherfield redo never got completed. When stuff began to shut down around me three weeks ago, it got lost in the shuffle. I’ll be working on that as I can, as well, once I get this new book up.

My Austen Authors post will be up on April 27th. This one will be a giveaway post. I’ll be giving away a couple e-book copies of Darcy’s Uneasy Betrothal.
In personal news, one of my friends sent me a package of toilet paper, so I’m now stocked up again in both bathrooms for a couple weeks. Yay! <3

Jasper is learning to allow me to brush his teeth. It’s been a slow process and he’s still not really allowing me to actually brush them, but he got toothpaste the other day and that has made the process much easier. LOL
