News and Updates: Saturday, May 9, 2020

Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

I’ve lost count of the weeks now. I hope you’re doing well, however long it’s been!

I’ve written 6,410 words this week on the new, as-yet-untitled story. It currently has more than 9,000 words and about three and a half chapters.

I also added some to the Thursday’s 300 story. I’ve been calling this one A MUCH Later Meeting, but I might retitle it at some point.

I don’t have much news of any sort this week, let alone personal news. LOL My allergies have been ugly this past several days, leaving my sinuses stuffed and keeping me from sleeping well. I’ve been Mean Mom to Jasper and severely limiting his people food, so he’ll eat his dog food. And, I’m SO ready for This Current Crisis to be over. I can’t imagine how those of you in places like New York City are not going totally insane at this point. You must be some strong people!

As I write this, on Thursday evening, I have Pandora playing my praise and worship channel. I’ve been so frustrated today that I could find nothing positive to share on Facebook. I knew I needed something uplifting to fill me, and this has been a good choice. So far, I have heard Hillsong, Third Day, and Casting Crowns, all three of which I love.

How are you doing? Are you healthy? Taking precautions? Feel free to leave a comment and let me know you’re well! I love to hear from my readers! <3

  1. Weather was perfect today except for the pollen count. I snorted and sneezed and stayed inside. And I read all day. I see you’re having allergy stuff, too. So sorry.

    • Thanks! Spring is always rough, and seems to get rougher every year! Sorry about your allergy mess, too!
