Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

This week started out kind of iffy for me, but has gotten really good. How has yours gone?
In writing news, I have written four days this week, so far, for a total of 10,148 words. Yay!! Go me!! <3

This burst of productivity means the book, Darcy’s Unwanted Bride, is around halfway done. I still have no projected completion date; however, I plan to press forward this weekend and write as much as I can both Saturday and Sunday. I will probably have a side job to complete next week, but will still write as much as I can. My hope is to publish in March, so the sooner I finish writing, the better. 🙂

Mr. Darcy, My Hero is still on sale for $2.99. At the end of January, the price will go back up to $7.99. It will be in one more newsletter, Sweet Romance Book Bargains, on January 28th. In February, I will lower the price of another book, Forced to Wed.
In personal news, I spent the first part of the week not feeling great. I made chili and though it did not have beans, I didn’t adjust the spices like I should have. This, of course, led to reflux. I have frozen the remainder of the chili and my stomach has thanked me. LOL

After a couple weeks of decent temperatures, Mother Nature has decided to come out and play again today. It’s bitterly cold and has snowed all afternoon. I’m hoping we only get the two inches they’re predicting and not two feet. However, if we do get a lot, I have money tucked into a kitchen cabinet to pay for plowing. I’m done shoveling. LOL
