Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

We have reached Saturday again. Goodness, that was fast! LOL
I’ve not gotten a lot of writing done this week. I’m ending the week with 1,124 words written Thursday. These words are on the new book, Darcy’s Unwanted Bride. I did not sleep well again and feel like I’ve been hit by a train, so creativity is near to impossible.

This month’s featured book is Forced to Wed. It’s a two-book bundle containing Matches Made at Netherfield and Decisions and Consequences. It will remain priced at $2.99 until the end of February. It was in the Full Hearts Romance Sweet Hearts Romance Newsletter this past Wednesday and will be in The Fussy Librarian newsletter tomorrow. The next two email newsletters it will be in are as follows:
- February 22nd: Boxed Romance Book Bargains
- February 27th: Bargain Booksy
In personal news, I have pretty much caught up with everything from the last couple weeks. It feels good to have writing days again.

Also, I took down the air mattress in the guest room. I wasn’t sleeping well and I realized that it was because of the heat upstairs. Now that the room is essentially empty again, I can turn that heat off at night and get restful sleep again. What a difference! LOL

I’m ordering in tonight … chicken alfredo from Scooter’s By the Lake. I had to use table salt on the front steps, but there’s enough snow on the walk portion that the delivery guy should be okay. My bag of rock salt is a half-bag sized single rock. No way I’m getting that apart, at least not until I find my drill bits.
