Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

How are things? It’s frigidly cold here again, so Jasper and I are staying in as much as possible this weekend. Thankfully, it’s supposed to warm up next week. <3
In writing news, I wrote 3,265 words over the course of 3 days. The story is not complete. This both frustrates and saddens me. I don’t know why this story is fighting me so badly, but it is.

This month’s book on sale is Coming Together. I have it scheduled for six newsletters, all one after the other, in the middle of the month. That’s a different newsletter each day for six straight days. I’m eager to see how that goes. LOL If you want to know which ones and when, drop me a line and I’ll let you know.
I’m running no Amazon ads on this book, so at the moment, it’s not really selling. I did boost a Facebook post and that has garnered clicks in the low double digits. I can’t tell how many of those clicks resulted in a sale but I feel better knowing eyes are seeing it. LOL Anyway, feel free to spread the word to your JAFF-reading friends! 😀

I have a concern, and I’m hoping you all can give me some feedback. I worry that my newsletter has become boring. I’m thinking about making some changes. I’ve talked before about adding images but didn’t really add any, except for the section dividers. Leenie has all kinds of cool things in hers. She’s much better with graphics and stuff than I am, so I think I might use hers as a model. I might add a “what I’m reading” paragraph, too. (Fair warning, JAFF is not all I read.) If there’s something you’ve seen in another newsletter that you would like to see in mine, feel free to let me know.
Today has become an allergy day. :/ It’s the first truly bad allergy day I’ve had in months, and I stopped getting shots in the autumn. I used my neti pot a little while ago and have a bottle of Claritin sitting here and one of Excedrin. I won’t be getting shots until after the cooties restrictions are lifted, which could be next year. Even then, I won’t return to the doc I was going to. I’d like to find one a little closer.

Since the weather will be warming up, I plan to start walking a trail about twenty minutes to the west of me next week. I’m both excited to begin and concerned about the time aspect, since it’s so far away. All I can do is give it a try. If I can’t make it work, I have a treadmill in my bedroom. 🙂

Is it warming up where you are, if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere? I know I have some subscribers who are in the Southern Hemisphere, and for them, winter is coming. I’m so sorry about that. I wish you didn’t have to go through it! Feel free to drop me a line and let me know what it’s like where you are today. I love to hear from my readers! <3
