News and Updates: Saturday, April 17, 2021

Welcome to (or back to) Austen Promises! Below are my news and updates for this week. Enjoy!

How are things? It’s been … weird here! LOL

I have finally gotten the new story off the ground. I have written 1,870 words this week. It all feels rather scattered right now, but Leenie and Rose assure me it’s fine. LOL The story is still nameless. I hope to rectify that before I reach the end. 😉 This one is a Patreon-exclusive story.

This month’s promo bundle, Darcy’s Adventures, seems to be doing well, at least on Amazon. It’s in the Regency romance promotion all month … in case you missed it earlier, here’s the link for that. I did not do paid newsletters this time, and that may have been a mistake as far as “wide” sales go. I’ll use a couple next month for The Darcy Marriage Series, even though it’s also in a Bookfunnel promotion.

I made a direct sale last week! I was and remain very excited that someone would take the chance on buying a book directly from me. Here’s the link to my books page, for anyone who wants to check it out. I’d love some feedback, so I might email the person who made the purchase and ask how it went.

If you’re a Kobo reader in Canada or the US, that big bundle I have (Darcy and Elizabeth: An 8 Book Boxed Set) is in their Spring Boxsets/Bundles Sale. Here’s the link to the sale page, and here is the link to the book. Its sale price is $9.99, down from $24.99. The sale began today and runs through the weekend, ending on Monday, April 19.

In personal news, I wore myself out this past week with cleaning the basement and doing yard work. I used my new reciprocating saw, though, and it was awesome! I should have bought one of these years ago! <3

Are you out doing yardwork or container gardening or some other kind of outdoor stuff again yet? How’s it going for you? Feel free to drop me a line and let me know. I love to hear from my readers!
